Pencil eyeliner is what I call the beginner eye liner. This is probably the first eye liner product you will buy and for good reason. Pencil eyeliners are easy to use and they create a soft look. Pencils can be smudged out on the lash line so they look barely there or can be used all over the lids as an eyeshadow.

  • great for beginners
  • soft lines
  • can be used as an all over eyeshadow
  • suitable for tight-lining and water-lining.

Gel Eyeliner  a hybrid of liquid and gel eyeliner. It creates precise liner but they can also be easily smudged.

  • matte finish
  • precise lines
  • can be smudged
  • suitable for tight-lining and water-lining.

Liquid Eyeliner creates precise, clean lines.

  • perfect for winged liner/graphic lines
  • Excellent staying powder
  • Glossy finish
  • not good for beginners
  • Do not use in the waterline – it will burn.

L’Oreal Colour Privee in Cheryl

I stumbled across this new collection in Boots when I was browsing and I just couldn’t put it down.  The idea is that each nude lipstick is matched to a iconic celebrity so that you will find it easier to find the perfect nude for your skin tone or do as I did and go bananas because it has Cheryl on it.

The formula is quite sheer which I like because I never look in a mirror when I am applying lipstick, they aren’t very pigmented but I never think nude shades are, it is meant to enhance your natural lip colour. This colour really suits my skin- tone. A my lips but better shade.

The only downside of this lipstick is the scent, Why must my lips smell, nobody is going to smell my lips trust me! The scent is really over powerful. It’s not un-pleasant but I just prefer no smell.
