Nothing that the sun is here (sometimes) It is time to break out the bright lippies!

MAC Morange is the easiest orange lipstick to wear. Because it has a strong red undertone it makes it more wearable and it suits lots of skin tones.

Here’s how I created this look

Base

  • Maybelline Baby Skin
  • BareMinerals Complexion Rescue in Vanilla 02
  • Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Warm Light
  • MAC MSF in Medium
  • NYC Sunny Bronzer

Eyes

  • MAC Soft Orche Paint Pot
  • MAC Blanc Type all over the lid
  • Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette Peach Eyelid colour all over the eye
  • Benefit Roller Lash
  • MAC Brow Pencil

Lips

  • MAC Morange

Sunset Orange Eyes

Orange is not a colour we tend to wear on our eyes but it is actually very wearable and can really warm up our eyes. I used this Inglot eyeshadow in the shade 363 which is a gorgeous burnt orange colour. I attempted to do a cut crease and it didn’t turn out to badly. So here’s what I did;

On the eyes:

All over the lid I used MAC Blanc type: a neutral skin toned eyeshadow.

In the crease I used Inglot 363 (orange) on a MAC 217. I built up this colour until it was intense.

On the lower lash line I blended Inglot 363 to meet up with the crease.

For mascara I used Benefit Roller lash (my new favourite mascara)

What do you think  of the summer-y orange look?

An Indian Summer

I just can’t get enough of this Zara dress. I have worn it so much this summer.

It is perfect for evenings out as here in Ireland it gets really cold in the evenings so this has been perfect as my arms are covered! The shape of this dress is so easy going and is excellent for tapas dinners when its rude to not have two desserts!

The heels are also from Zara and although initially we didn’t get on, they hurt my feet so much we are now getting along much better and I can wear these into the early hours!

Another fashion post I know but I have just bought some really nice summer pieces that I’ve just had to share with you.

This dress is the perfect summer day/evening dress. It is fitted but flow-y so you can fit that dessert in after dinner 😉 You can’t see in the picture above but this dress has full length sleeves but as I live in Ireland I welcome the sleeves.

The print does everything for this dress from Zara (I know, I know)but you can also buy it in red, green and navy which I think I will be picking up.

Again this dress is paired with my trusty leather jacket from Zara and my Michael Kors Handbag.

What do you think of these fashion posts should I do more?

Grey is the New Black

Zara Grey Dress

I am not really one to wear a dress or do a fashion post but I am so in love with this dress that I had to share it with you.

This is a t-shirt style dress that has a hi-low hem so it’s high in the front and low in the back! The material of this dress is a really thick cotton which is super comfy. It isn’t see through and it doesn’t blow up !

This dress can be dressed down or dressed up. I dressed it down with ballet flats from primark , a chunky necklace from Topshop, Ray ban Aviators and my trusty Michael Kors  Handbag.

But if I was to dress it up I’d wear a pair of wedges and a leather jacket to make it more evening appropriate.

The dress is from zara, its not available online that I can find but I got mine in store very recently.
