On a whim I bought this Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick in The Missing Pink. Boots 3 for 2 is completely to blame!

I wasn’t expecting much from this lipstick just something I can throw on. Well I was completely wrong this has replaced my very loved MAC Patisserie lipstick. The shade of this lipstick is a pink nude, A your lips but better shade.

What I love about this formula is that it doesn’t dry out my lips and it wears off nicely. This lipstick applies really smoothly and you don’t need a mirror to apply this shade.

I can’t wait to pick up some more shades from this range.

Max Factor Lipgloss in Lustrous Sands

I was never really one for lip gloss more of a moisturising lipstick kinda girl. But recently I have been loving adding a bit of gloss to my favourite lipstick MAC Patisserie, or sometimes I just wear it on its own.

The lipgloss is not one of those stuck to your hair, annoying lipgloss. The colour is not to pigmented so it doesn’t alter the colour of your lipstick too much. The shade Lustrous Sands is the perfect pinky nude gloss in my opinion. Since I’ve got it’s all I’ve been wearing.

This lipgloss retails for €11.49

Cranberry Smokey Eye

Im a huge fan of a smokey eye but a cranberry smokey eye is probably my most worn and most loved smokey eye. Unusual I know, but i just love the pop of colour and its something unusual.

So for this post Im saying embrace colour and let’s get our smoke on!

To crete this eye look, I used all MAC cosmetics eyeshadows. The shades I used to create this look were Cranberry, Sketch (deep purple) and Wedge (soft brown).

1. Apply a primer to your lids, I used MAC Soft Orche surprise surprise!

2. Apply wedge into the crease with a fluffy brush this is going to be our transition colour.

3. With a flat shader brush apply cranberry (isn’t it beautiful) all over the lids. I like to pat it on to get an intense colour.

3. Blend Blend Blend with the brush you used to apply Wedge (fluffy brush)

4. Apply sketch to the outer third of your eye with the other side of your flat brush, you could use a clean one but Im too lazy!

5. Blend Blend Blend the outer corner with the same fluffy brush.

6. Apply wedge to the lower lash line with a pencil brush

7. Apply cranberry to the outer half of the lower lash line with a pencil brush.

8. Voila ladies you’re done!

You can add liner if you wish I didn’t in this picture but sometimes I do. Its up to you!

Tell me what you think of this look and if your recreate it tag me in it or #laurenaalice so I can find it!

Fuchsia Eyes at Matthew Williamson SS15

Matthew Williamson SS15 Make Up

The makeup at Matthew Williamson show at London Fashion week was incredible. With a flawless face with bright fuchsia eyes, slick of mascara and a pop of pink on the cheeks. This make up look was beautiful but exciting and will definitely brighten up your dull winter’s day when were heading into spring next year. The make up look was created by Benefit Cosmetics.

Manicure Monday | Chanel May

very-nice-nails-12

I thought for today’s mani monday I would use a beautiful spring colour to help us through this depressing weather. If you are living in the UK and Ireland you know what I mean. I hope you’re all safe!

I know that the formula of Chanel nail polishes is crap but you can’t beat the feeling of wearing a chanel nail polish. I love this “true pink” colour called May.  Chanel Nail polishes retail for £18.

Marc Jacobs perfume has to be the best selling fragrance line. His fragrance smell amazing. Im sure you already know this. This is my favourite version I have the original but I find it alot muskier where as this is ‘eau so fresh’. This scent is very floral and sweet which is just my cup of tea.
