Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask

Sanctuary Clay Mask

Once a week I try to really deep clean my skin, the best way to do this is with a clay mask as they penetrate deep into the layers of the skin and draw the impurities out.

This clay mask as a thermal component too which means that when you apply it to your skin it slowly heats up and then its cools down once it’s set. The thermal feature is definitely my favourite. It is like having a hot water bottle on your face.

Once I use this mask I can see a dramatic difference in my skin. It is glowing and feels nourished.

After hearing that lots of beauty blogger’s rave about this hair mask. I had to try it, especially when it came as a sample in a magazine. ALways look out for magazine samples. There is always some good ones!

After my initial excitement with this product. I tested it out. This is a treatment you put in before you shampoo and leave it in wet hair for twenty minutes. Then you wash your hair as normal. I don’t know if I was using it wrong but my hair just felt so greasy the next day, but the following day when I washed it, it felt silky smooth but I couldn’t deal with having greasy hair for one day even if my hair was soft and silky the next day.

Another problem I had with this product was the effort it took to put in your hair. Who has time to rinse their hair, put in this hair mask wait 20 minutes and then wash it out. Definitely not me! I kept this mask for bath time!

So I wasn’t in love with this product but if it comes in a magazine again I probably would pick it up and try and use it again! I want to know why everyone loves this hair mask so much!

Have you tried this hair mask before? What are your thoughts?
