Sephora Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover Review

Sephora Eye Make Up Remover

I wear waterproof mascara everyday, yes I know I am crazy but it is the only way my lashes hold a curl. So the hunt for the best eye make up remover started. I went to Boots and there offering just didn’t take off my mascara fully.  Sephora make up remover is a two part solution which you have to shake up so that the oil mixes in. I use this remover on a cotton pad and it gently dissolves my mascara and eye make up and just wipes it away.

The Good

  • removes all traces of mascara
  • doesn’t irritate the eyes
  • Don’t need to rub the eyes to remove it

The BAD

  • It does leave an oily residue which I personally don’t mind as I wash my face fully afterwards.
  • There no Sephora in Ireland 🙁 but you can buy it online.

Last weekend I was lucky enough to be invited to the LoveLife and Make up meetup in Dublin. It was organised by the beautiful Hannah. At the meet up I met lots of lovely irish bloggers and we all got a lovely goodie bag.

In my goodie bag there was;

Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara by Kate Moss

The scandaleyes mascara a “broken heart brush” which is just a thick bristled brush which is great for creating volume! I got two colours in the mascara that I am really excited to try. I have 005 Eye Rock Sapphire which is a gorgeous navy colour and 004 eye rock jet black which is a jet black.

Water Wipes

I love these wipes. They are very gentle on the skin and they remove all traces of make up!

Benefit Big Easy

I got some samples of Benefit’s Big Easy BB cream which I am really excited to try.

Thank you again Hannah for organising this event. It was such a nice day and a enjoyed meeting everyone!

What’s on my Face #1

Usually I don’t do this type of post, I don’t really like to have my face spread across my website! Strangely! But I thought I would share with you my favorite make-up look.

For my base I am wearing Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk in shade 5, on top of that I have MAC Blot Powder to mattify my skin in the T-zone area. For contour I am using MAC Harmony! Quelle Surprise, and a new addition to my collection MAC Soft and Gentle Highlighter.

On my brows, I have MAC Brow pencil in Lingering and for mascara, Lancome Hypnose!

So my base and eyes are fairly basic! but I love this look because the lips are the strong point! Although I am always worried of it smudging but it hasn’t yet. The lipstick I am wearing is MAC  Private Party. This was a limited edition lipstick but MAC Rebel is very similar!

What do you think of this look? Would you wear it?

The Review |Lancome Hypnose Mascara

Awhile ago I spoke about my favourite drugstore mascara favourite. It was the Maybelline Colossal mascara in waterproof if you missed that post.

As for high end mascara, my favourite has to Lancome Hypnose. It add more volume than the colossal and less length. I really like this mascara for days when I want my lashes to look natural!

Have your tried Lancome Hypnose mascara?

The Review |Maybelline Colossal Volum’ Express

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

For today’s blogmas post we’re talking about mascaras. My favourite mascara has to be Maybelline Colossal Volum’ Express in normal but my favourite formulation has to be waterproof. Waterproof mascara hold a curl way better than normal. Although the worst part is definitely taking it off.

This mascara defines the lashes and adds just enough volume. I always favour length over volume.

What is your favourite mascara to use?
