On a whim I bought this Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick in The Missing Pink. Boots 3 for 2 is completely to blame!

I wasn’t expecting much from this lipstick just something I can throw on. Well I was completely wrong this has replaced my very loved MAC Patisserie lipstick. The shade of this lipstick is a pink nude, A your lips but better shade.

What I love about this formula is that it doesn’t dry out my lips and it wears off nicely. This lipstick applies really smoothly and you don’t need a mirror to apply this shade.

I can’t wait to pick up some more shades from this range.

Max Factor Lipgloss in Lustrous Sands

I was never really one for lip gloss more of a moisturising lipstick kinda girl. But recently I have been loving adding a bit of gloss to my favourite lipstick MAC Patisserie, or sometimes I just wear it on its own.

The lipgloss is not one of those stuck to your hair, annoying lipgloss. The colour is not to pigmented so it doesn’t alter the colour of your lipstick too much. The shade Lustrous Sands is the perfect pinky nude gloss in my opinion. Since I’ve got it’s all I’ve been wearing.

This lipgloss retails for €11.49

What are you favourite lip glosses?

Me and red lips is not something you will see very often. As much as I love them, I just feel really self conscious when I wear one and I just don’t think I can pull it off. But this year I have decided to be adventurous and not worry what people think.

When I wear a red lip I like to keep things simple for the rest of my makeup.

So that’s what lip liner’s are for!

Lip Liners 1

Lip Liners are lip primers for your lips in my opinion, I don’t wear a lip liner on an everyday basis but for when I opt for a dramatic lip look. They are  my best friend. I have a red lip liner which is REDD by MAC for when I go for a red or organge-y lip look, I also have a deep burgundy Currant by MAC for when I go for a vampy lip look.

Rules of Lip Liners

  1. Don’t over draw your lips.
  2. Don’t use a darker lip liner than your lipstick

I use my lip liner by colouring in my lips with the liner, then putting on my lipstick with a lip brush to get  the best shape and definition.

Just take a look at the Charlotte Tilbury website to see what dreams are really made of! Charlotte has detailed every single make up such as those shown above and has gone through in great detail what products she used and a video showing you how to use them.

Here are my top picks:

The Dolce Vita Palette – This palette is gorgeous I love all the colours! you can create some really simple and dramatic looks with this palette.

Matte Revolution Lipsticks – These are a new addition to the collection and these opaque lip colours are a winner

Lip pencil in pillow talk – the perfect nude lip liner

Feline Flick Eye liner pencil – Easy liner pen to create the perfect flick

What’s on my Face #1

Usually I don’t do this type of post, I don’t really like to have my face spread across my website! Strangely! But I thought I would share with you my favorite make-up look.

For my base I am wearing Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk in shade 5, on top of that I have MAC Blot Powder to mattify my skin in the T-zone area. For contour I am using MAC Harmony! Quelle Surprise, and a new addition to my collection MAC Soft and Gentle Highlighter.

On my brows, I have MAC Brow pencil in Lingering and for mascara, Lancome Hypnose!

So my base and eyes are fairly basic! but I love this look because the lips are the strong point! Although I am always worried of it smudging but it hasn’t yet. The lipstick I am wearing is MAC  Private Party. This was a limited edition lipstick but MAC Rebel is very similar!

What do you think of this look? Would you wear it?
