Some Tapas at The Olive Tree

Monkish Tempura
Patas Bravas

Last weekend, I went on a girlie date to an amazing tapas restaurant in Waterford. The Olive Tree opened last year and I have only been there once before.

The Olive Tree is a tapas restaurant so the idea is that you select 2 to 3 dishes per person and you can share them. I love this style of dining as you get to try loads of different things.

We went for the prawns in garlic oil, bruschetta which we could have done with more of we were so hungry! Monkfish tempura which is amazing. My favourite thing on the whole menu and patas bravas which is potatoes in a tomotoe sauce.

The food was all really nice. I would highly recommend you give this place a go and to end it with some yummy churros which we devoured so fast I never got a picture!

Just a little style post to show you what accessory I am loving at the moment. Daniel Wellington makes classic watches that I think will stand the test of time. My absolute favourite is the brown leather with the rose gold face! But I’d take one in black too ūüėČ

Whats you favourite accessory?

Grey is the New Black

Zara Grey Dress

I am not really one to wear a dress or do a fashion post but I am so in love with this dress that I had to share it with you.

This is a t-shirt style dress that has a hi-low hem so it’s high in the front and low in the back! The material of this dress is a really thick cotton which is super comfy. It isn’t see through and it doesn’t blow up !

This dress can be dressed down or dressed up. I dressed it down with ballet flats from primark , a chunky necklace from Topshop, Ray ban Aviators and my trusty Michael Kors  Handbag.

But if I was to dress it up I’d wear a pair of wedges and a leather jacket to make it more evening appropriate.

The dress is from zara, its not available online that I can find but I got mine in store very recently.
