The Sunday Post #17 Stressful Rewind

I had the most stressful week possible and it ate into my weekend too (thank you accounting) So when Sunday hit, the pamper was about to commence. Usually I would have a bath but I didn’t have to time today so Instead a quick shower would have to suffice.

So for my pamper session. I am going to start off by scrubbing the week off with St.Tropez Tan Optimiser. This leaves your skin silky smooth. Next up is Lush Snow Fairy just for it’s amazing smell think candy floss and pear drops. Mmmmm.

Now onto face, I am going to gently exfoliate my face with Boots Botanic’s Purifying Face Scrub, This scrub is so gentle thank to it’s cream formula.

And my lips have been so dry and flaky this week thanks to the cold weather so I am giving them a bit of a scrub with Lush Mint Julips Scrub.

Obviously, I also washed my hair with whatever was in the shower. I also moisturised with the Garnier Instant Dry Gel but I forgot to include it in the photo (Sorry)

What does your quick pamper look like?

Naturally Flawless Skin

Isn’t this what everyone wants? But trust this is hard to find on anyone skin. We all have skin issue whether it is oily, dry or acne prone. There always something wrong for the majority of us.

you will need a serum, moisturiser/primer, foundation and concealer. Choose products that suit your skin. The only way you will know is if you try them and do a little research.

  1. Serum: This nourishes your skin as serum’s go deeper than moisturiers. My serum of choice is Estee Lauder Idealist Skin. Choose a serum that will suit your specific need such as minimizing pores, age-defying,acne prevention.
  2. Moisture: After you apply a serum apply your moisturiser that isn’t to heavy such as Boot’s Botanics Super Calm Moisturiser.  This is used to hydrate your skin (bye bye dry patches)
  3. Choose a foundation or tinted moisturiser that suits you. At the moment I am using the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser in Bisque. I apply this with a real techniques buffing brush.
  4. Concealer: I use a highlighting concealer under my eyes to make me look less sleepy and as I am acne prone I use a heavy duty concealer such as the collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer in 02.
  5. Lastly apply some powder to control shine.

That is all the steps in my fake your naturally flawless skin routine. I hope you enjoyed.

Boot’s Botanics Skincare Range

I think I am having a skin miracle with these products. Honestly my skin has cleared so much since I started using these products. Maybe it’s because I am using products from the same range but If I’m honest I think it just because these products are amazing.

First of all we’ll start of with the pore perfecting deep clean mousse. I think this is the main reason why my skin has cleared up. It doesn’t smell the best but it’s all natural so who cares! I use this twice -three times a day. I hate the feeling of make-up when I’m in the house. I love to take it off straight away. This cleanser takes away most traces of make-up. I usually double cleanse to get really deep into the pores.

Next we’ll move on to the rosewater toning spritz  this is meant to be a dupe for the Claudalie Beauty Elixer. I don’t have that but I do love this toner on days I cant be bothered doing a proper tone I just spritz but also I can use it for a deep tone by spraying on to a Cotton pad. Also I use this to refresh my skin throughout the day. I t smells really nice and really cools and smooths the skin.

Lastly, the ´╗┐iconic clay mask. You leave this mask on the skin for 10 minutes or longer in my case. I don’t know if it’s the best mask out there but it’s refreshing doesn’t dry out the skin and leaves my skin feeling brighter so that’s a good thing.

Have you tried any of the boots botanics range?
