Halo Smokey Eye using MAC Club

Today I was inspired by Samantha from Batalash Beauty. She did I look similar to this on her youtube channel and I thought I would do my take on it.

For my eyes I used my favourite transition colour Too Faced Peanut Butter, To deepen my crease I used MAC Swiss Chocolate. I blended until my arms hurt with a MAC 217 and a Blank Canvas E26 brush! My ride or die brushes!

In the centre of my lids I used MAC Club (how pretty is it!) with a wet Blank Canvas E24 brush. I pressed this colour into my lid and then i just gentle buffed out the edges using the same brush is wiggling motions at the edge!

To further deepen the outside corner I used Too Faced Truffle a gorgeous deep brown and then I went back in with the brush I used to buff out peanut butter to blend all the shades together. To really make the centre pop I added a bit more MAC club.

To finish off I smoked some Peanut butter onto the lower lash line and applied Benefit Roller Lash Mascara.

What do you think of this eye look?

Its still neutral and warm but I think the pop of green/brown in the centre is gorgeous! MAC Club is a duo chrome eyeshadow so in some lights is looks green and in other brown!

Skinlogic Launches in Naas

This week I was invited to the relaunch of Skinlogic salon in Naas.  Skin logic salon carries go-therapeutics for skincare, go-minerals for make up and Tan Organic for tanning. All these brands are natural and free from parabans with active ingredients to help your skin.

The salon has a variety of treatments to help you with skin concerns or to just relax and have a nice massage. Do you see the bath above I am definitely coming back for that treatment!

They also have a make up and nail section for you to get slammed up for a night out on the town and of course you can get a spray tan with the eco certified tan organic tan.

If your interested in the new salon and you live near the Naas area, Here’s all the details.

Romantique by CND Shellac

Nothing beats having your nails done and not having to worry about them chipping for a few weeks! For my nails I either get Shellac which is a two week manicure or gel nails which are basically fake tips that are glued to your natural nail and then a gel coat is put on top to seal it all together.

In this picture I had just had gel nails done. For me gel nails suit me better as I really struggle to grow my nails (years of biting them) and I never get the desired shape I want.

Gel nails last 3-4 weeks, depending on how much your nails grows and how much you want to change the colour.

Whenever I get my nails done I stick to the same neutral safe colours; nude, red, burgundy and navy. They are just my go to shades.

The shade I have on my nails above is Romantique by CND Shellac!

Soap and Glory |The Missing Pink Lipstick

On a whim I bought this Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick in The Missing Pink. Boots 3 for 2 is completely to blame!

I wasn’t expecting much from this lipstick just something I can throw on. Well I was completely wrong this has replaced my very loved MAC Patisserie lipstick. The shade of this lipstick is a pink nude, A your lips but better shade.

What I love about this formula is that it doesn’t dry out my lips and it wears off nicely. This lipstick applies really smoothly and you don’t need a mirror to apply this shade.

I can’t wait to pick up some more shades from this range.

I thought I would start a new series where I flick through whats going on in the magazines and recreate the looks. I loved the Cara Delevigne Catwalk look.

The eyes were so dramatic and intense while everything else is very neutral.

How I created this look:

Eyes:

MAC Cranberry Eyeshadow blended all over the lid.

No mascara no liner!

Base:

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

MAC Blot Powder

MAC Harmony Contour

Lips:

MAC Pattisiere Lipstick
